i would believe most or some of you might have eaten bengawan's solo banana or durian pukis before

no no, it's safe to eat them, not too worry

and no it's not only recently that i found out about these

but yeah, it's more of a "fats just remembered" kind of thingy

but anyway

back to the pukis

(this sounds so wrong)

all i've got to say about them are

why the hell would anyone name something edible pukis?

(im sorry i dont have a picture of it, gobbled it down too fast didnt have time to snap one)

so yeah, isn't it weird for a mom or dad to say to their 5 year old kid and say

"son do you want any pukis?"

well there's go the alarm

maybe for them young malay kids,in their mind they would say

"wait a min, didnt my parents tell me that these kind of words are not appropriate"

and what if, and what really if one day that child went to school and told his/her friends

"hey i ate this really awesome puki the other day, and i ate two of them"

(now tell me, doesnt that sound freaking weird)

and you guys know how them young ones react when they hear words they're were told not to say

they would be pointing them fingers and say

"oh hor, i tell teacher you say bad word, i tell i tell"

"teacher teacher soandso say bad word, oh hor oh hor"

i mean all of us went through that before when we were in pri school

yeah?remember those days?

when you cant even call someone stupid, and when you do, you either get hit on the hand with a ruler or you had to stand outside the class

and seriously which part of the banana/durian pukis actually looked like a puki?

just the other day

me,mom,kecik and dad were over at plaza

i saw them and said

"ba you see, you see, wth is this thing called pukis, what pukis pukis"

i was saying it really very loud, mom was already staring at me

dad was giggling away, and i started snorting like a pig

and kecik, well she's always clueless

only after 5 mins she knew what i was referring to

"slaps forehead"

went back home and my botak bro was using the com

"eh abg, you want to know something, bengawan solo has this thing called banana/durian pukis"

my bro's reaction?

PRICELESS

and then that botak started laughing

"adik adik where's the pukis, i want to eat leh"

"hahahahahaha, gosh who ever eat these pukis is going to be a very rude and obscene person"

mom laughed after hearing that

so yeah, all in all

they should rename it to banana/durian oblong or something

because pukis?

gosh they're giving kids a reason to just shout

pukis! everytime they feel like it

so dont go blaming parents if one day you hear all 4 year olds going

"i like pukis, i like pukis"

because im sure they were referring to them bengawan solo's

or they're just really horny 4 year olds

(which im hoping not)

so yeah just a thought
